Sweet Betsy Farm is a small-scale family owned farm in Marion, North Carolina. We are committed to providing our community with high quality produce, farm fresh eggs and honey by limited use of organically approved chemicals and responsible farming practices.

Sustainable agriculture tries to find a good balance between the need for food production and the preservation of the ecological system within the environment. By producing a wide variety of vegetables, fruit, eggs and honey with minimal intervention, Sweet Betsy Farm is able to protect our land, nurture our honey bees and provide high quality food for our customers.

If you're looking for chemical-free honey in the US, you want to focus on raw, unheated and unfiltered honey which is produced without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, or artificial treatments. The USDA does not have specific regulations for organic honey domestically so we concentrate on chemical-free practices.
